I could only imagine one here at this time of year.

Keewee, oh can't wait to see what they are.

our friend Ben, At least I have neighbors who have daffodils that have bloomed. I saw a gorgeous row of them at one of the garden centers near us.

Frances, yes there is a reason I live up north. I fade in the heat. So I'll be happy come July and August.

Tessa, yup tomorrow it will hit 70 for the first time this year. I can't wait. I can open all the windows for the first time.

perennialgardener, last year I didn't even know what a hellebore was. It was a gift for my birthday. It sat on my counter for a while until I read the tag. It was hardy in my zone so plopped it into the ground.

sweet bay, yes I have to wait quite a while. I'm only zone 6, but with the ocean influence we tend to be cold in the spring. Plus my ground slopes to the north so it takes longer to warm up.

Sue thanks. Yes this hellebore tried my patience. It was in bud for over a month before it deigned to open.

Karen, lol yup I'm dreaming of May and it is just around the corner.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-11209142626806733432009-04-15T22:48:00.000-04:002009-04-15T22:48:00.000-04:00Well, there's a reason she called it May Dreams Ga...Well, there's a reason she called it May Dreams Gardens! Because all you super cold-weather folks really have to wait until May for things to get fully underway. Sorry about all the wacky weather extending into spring.
