I'm going to plant some this fall though. ;)Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-34278326926763670632009-06-24T16:56:36.730-04:002009-06-24T16:56:36.730-04:00Hi.

Tomorrow it should stop but maybe not until later in the day.

Sally, I have a few things that haven't been mulched too, but because the soil hasn't warmed up enough. I want to mulch my eggplant, but I might never do it if the soil doesn't warm up.

Mrs. Darling, I use a row cover for all my brassica crops. No brassica will grow for me in my garden without it. I've tried many times and the plants always fail to produce. And when I say brassica I mean the family not just the genus. Radishes won't make roots without a row cover either. I'm not sure what inhibits them, but since a row cover works, I use it.Daphne Gouldhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17305049560953735881noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-30675664674187072862009-06-24T01:08:41.089-04:002009-06-24T01:08:41.089-04:00Okay so how are you keeping the cabbage worms away...Okay so how are you keeping the cabbage worms away, seriously. I was in the middle of mulching my perennial beds before the rain drove me inside and now the weeds are taking over, again.
Beautiful variety of lettuces. You may not need anything else for a delicious salad. Just add dressing.Sallyhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16533917819185792443noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-91342440032328469392009-06-23T21:06:38.485-04:002009-06-23T21:06:38.485-04:00What gorgeous pics of your harvest! I saw that storm on the radar off my VA coast -- was hoping we wouldn't get the brunt and we didn't!islandgardenerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13961480147327967013noreply@blogger.com
