The tomatoes I planted Sunday are OK but looking a little unhappy from the cold nights.Fortunately we have fencing so no ground hogs and no snapping turtles this year, but the baby bunnies are out and about, looking for Farmer McGregor's garden gate, which better be kept closed.David Veltenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07710293718143454000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-33740911007280416002015-06-03T09:42:35.926-04:002015-06-03T09:42:35.926-04:00Thank goodness we don't have groundhogs here, ...Thank goodness we don't have groundhogs here, the wood rats are enough of a problem. I think our chances of rain have fallen to virtually zero for the summer, as is normal. I just increased the timing on my irrigation system because were finally getting more sun and warmer temperatures. Groundhogs are cute, definitely more cute than rats.Michellehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07812702328134261533noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-39344794288621801322015-06-03T02:07:02.426-04:002015-06-03T02:07:02.426-04:00This comment has been removed by a blog administrator.Mobile App Developershttp://defuzed.innoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-69977488762285846222015-06-02T21:39:07.737-04:002015-06-02T21:39:07.737-04:00Hi Daphne, Our weather has been up and down too. ...Hi Daphne, Our weather has been up and down too. They ate hundreds of cabbages. Not the whole cabbage, but just enough to ruin it. We got cool weather here too, but warm weather is returning tomorrow. I still need to plant sweet potatoes.Dave @ HappyAcreshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03441364543023807886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3698134075709295915.post-76851700241594716702015-06-02T20:31:24.083-04:002015-06-02T20:31:24.083-04:00Well they eat the plants. This is the first time I've noticed those getting eaten, but it is also the first time I've grown rudbeckia outside the garden fence.
