Slice...When I have a cold ginger tea is a favorite. Slice a cubic inch size chunk of fresh ginger, add a tsp. of anise seed and a few whole cloves and 6 cups of water. Bring to a boil , cover and simmer for twenty minutes. Strain and enjoy. Also hot chocolate made with peppermint tea is spectacular!
