  1. Really nice sequences of shots. It is amazing how you make the maximum use of your space.

  2. Who needs a Garden Diary when they have a photographic record as comprehensive as this? Very impressive. Your photos illustrate very clearly how a lot of good produce can come out of a very modest-sized space - as long as it is well managed. Thanks for maintaining the Harvest Monday meme Daphne, and I wish you all the best for 2015.

  4. I love doing garden retrospectives like this. It always amazes me how quickly things change, you don't see it day by day, but a look every few weeks or monthly really shows the change. The snow covered and dormant garden makes me a bit sad though. Happy New Year! I hope your garden grows better than ever in the coming year.

  5. I love seeing pics showing how the garden evolves throughout season. Every plant has its time and then something else takes its place. It's a gardening philosophy I try to remind myself.

  6. It's always good to look back and remind ourselves how well the garden grew. Here's hoping for a good 2015

  7. Your garden area is so beautiful, lush, green, and productive. Now that it is cold and the ground is frozen, it is so nice to be reminded how lovely the garden will be once again come springtime. Happy New Year!

  10. I totally agree with Michelle - the month to month change in the garden is just amazing but you really don't appreciate it until you see it all laid out in photos like this.

Now I have a question - I see you have your fall carrots in bed #2 - when do you seed those & what is in the bed in the spring - are those fava beans?

    1. Yes I do a fava bean to storage carrot rotation. carrots were seeded on July 6th.

  11. Really nice to see the progression and how well organized your garden is. I wonder how wide the paths are between beds? I suspect they are not the 3' ol' Mel recommends. I made mine smaller as well so I could get more beds in my plot and I just carefully navigate between beds.

    1. The brick paths are 3' but the little paths between beds are just 19". So pretty small.
