One Lovely Blog Award

Jackie from Jackie's Secret Garden recently gave me this pretty award. I've been meaning to pass it on, but I keep putting it off because there is so much going on right now. I either don't have time to write or I have too much else to write. So I figured I'd better just make time for it.

Now I'm supposed to pass it on to 15 people. 15 is way too many. I'll be making links forever. Also it is supposed to go to blogs that I've newly discovered. Hmm. Which ones are the new ones? The ones I found six months ago, or the ones I've only been reading in the last month. So hard. So I'm going to choose the last ten people that I've Faved on Blotanical. I know they are in order of how long ago I found them. I know I liked them at the time I picked them. Some are newer blogs and some have been around for a while. I hope you like them too.

If you'd like to pass the award on to a favorite new blogger, these are the suggested rules.

  1. Accept the award, post it on your blog together with the name of the person who has granted the award, and his or her blog link.
  2. Pass the award to 15 other blogs that you’ve newly discovered.
  3. Remember to contact the bloggers to let them know they have been chosen for this award.

  1. Congratulations Daphne, and very well deserved! And I love the names of some of the blogs you awarded. i'm always in awe of how creative people are with their blog names. The Drooling Vegetable. Ha!!!!

  2. Congrats and thank you very much!

  3. Congrats on your well-deserved award and thank you for passing the love along!

  4. our friend Ben, I love the names too. People can be so creative.

    Thanks everyone.

  5. Daphne! Congratulations! And thank you so much! You are such a generous gardener, and I love learning from you. I don't know if you've made it back over since I answered comments, but I wanted to let you know that Fedco (broken record, me) has mache seeds in different varieties. Also, I believe Kitchen Garden Seeds has some, more expensive but I don't mind paying more because they put so much information on the packet. And I like having it on the packet for when I'm crawling around on my knees in the dirt and don't want to creak up, peel off my sodden gloves, and go check a book. LOVE the work you're sharing with us here!

  6. June, your welcome. I like Fedco too, but for orders under $30 they charge $5 in shipping. If I do it via catalog I'd probably go the Pinetree route. They have $4 shipping, but my hope is to find it locally or do a trade for it.
