A Sunny Day In The Garden

I took these a few days ago and just haven't had a good post to put them up, so I thought I'd just do it now. Thursday was a lovely day. There was an nice cool breeze and it barely got into the 80s. I was coming in from watering the rock wall garden. And saw this.

The garden is really starting to look nice.

And it is almost jungle worthy now. Soon the beans will all be leafed out and every third bed will have 7' tall foliage. The above view is from my front door peeking around the corner over the mailbox.

  1. Daphne - your garden looked fantastic with nothing in it so with mature plants, its phenomenal.

  8. It's a happy jungle! I'm always amazed at how big things get from such a small start.

Guess that's why I like gardening: I'm so easily amused.

  9. Thanks all. Now if I can just keep it all growing. I went out to inspect it after getting back home from vacation. Things have grown. Sadly my cukes aren't producing. I wish I had my Diamants this year. My Littleleafs just won't set any females for some reason.

  11. I love your bean trellises! Do you use any special ties to hold the bamboo together?
